Renowned the vigneron, international sailor and retirement village developer Bob Oatley passed away 11 January 2016, aged 87.

With his family he was a major sponsor of the development of the Waterbrook villages in Sydney, Australia's first six star retirement villages.

Waterbrook Yowie Bay and Waterbrook Greenwich were purchased by Lend Lease last Christmas as cornerstone villages in their ambition to expand the retirement village sector into the prestige market segment.
