Two neighbours in a retirement village located in rural Dungog were drowned in the flash storm that struck coastal NSW last week. Over 300mm fell on Dungog in 24 hours.

The retirement village had been identified as being at risk when it was built. In this vllage 20 homes were damaged. The floodwaters reaching the ceiling of one retirement village unit.
