Construction has begun at Stockland's 4.2 hectare Lightsview Retirement Village.

The $27 million project has proved extremely popular with almost two thirds of properties being sold before construction started in stage one of the development. About two thirds of the sold properties purchased off the plan were 2 bedroom retirement homes with an average price of $445,000.

It is anticipated that the following stages will include 42 homes and apartments 

The Lightsview masterplanned community - a partnership between Stockland and Renewal SA - will include the retirement village.
