The property development company has once again invited not-for-profit and community groups to apply for funding to support their local community-building initiatives.

Stockland will award up to $300,000 in CARE Grants to local groups, clubs and programs across Australia that support health, wellbeing, community connection, education, or local environmental initiatives.

The CARE Grants program has been running since 2014 and has distributed more than $1.2 million in funding to over 1000 recipients since its creation.

“This program enables us to recognise, invest in and show our support for the local community groups who make such a difference to the social fabric of where we live . . . now and into the future,” said Tiernan O’Rourke, Stockland CEO.

“Stockland has a long-standing commitment to work with the community through its shopping centres, retirement living villages and residential communities across the country. We focus on building liveable, thriving communities and are proud to support local groups who make such a difference in their communities every single day.”

Applications for this year’s CARE Grants close at 5pm on Friday, 22 March 2019. Entries can be submitted here.
