Four years after his appointment as CEO of the Royal District Nursing Service (RDNS) with a mandate for change, Steve Muggleton says his job is done and is moving to another as yet unnamed CEO position in the care sector.

He is largely credited for transforming RDNS from a Melbourne-based organisation into a national healthcare group. RDNS Homecare was launched across Australia, it has grown substantially in New Zealand and has successfully established businesses in China.

His Chairman, Paul Montgomery, is quoted saying “Steve Muggleton has been the leader that RDNS needed at a critical time in our history and an important time of change and uncertainty in our industry. His achievements of innovating and growing this organisation are recognised with heartfelt appreciation - we will be sorry to see him leave RDNS”.

Muggleton was previously CEO of Blue Care in QLD and it sits on the board of Aveo, which is also based in QLD operationally.
