The parent company behind St Ives retirement villages and home care operations, the RAC (Royal Automobile Club of WA) has recommitted to villages in Perth and aggressive expansion of its home care business across the country.

This follows the CEO, Terry Agnew (pictured), just announcing a $21M drop in 12 month net profit to $16M thnaks to increased insurance claims.

He said: “Governments everywhere are struggling with how they are going to fund the ageing population and we just see home care as a key ingredient of (an ageing population)”. he says they are also committed to growing their retirement village business in Perth.

They sold their two aged care facilities several months ago to Estia.
