The Village Glen Pioneer Chas Jacobsen reports that over the past 12 months his clientele of retirement village buyers has experienced a 100% change.

He says "The whole retirement village world has changed. New residents are slightly older and aware of their health. They want care available and they want support in their retirement village homes. Lifestyle is not the attraction in 2015".

The good news is that this supported environment means that residents can stay in their own home longer plus have a sense of security.

The Village Glen has approximatley 600 village homes and is located on the Mornington Peninsular. Chas Jacobsen, as the owner, has built a 5 Star aged care facility next to the village for his residents.
