Queensland retirement community, The Avenue Maroochydore, has reached an important milestone with 70 interested parties viewing the first display apartment when it opened to the public on Saturday.

Developed and operated by Aura Holdings, the new community is set on the previous site of the Maroochydore Bowls Club.

Located across the road from St Vincent’s Residential Aged Care Facility, its exceptional location is within walking distance to Sunshine Plaza, the emerging CBD precinct and the river.

The display apartment spans 109m2 internally, extending onto a spacious courtyard of 77m2 and according to future residents, Barrie and Margaret Smith, it  gives a good insight into the size of the rooms, the quality workmanship of the cabinets and cupboards and the sophistication of the appliances, confirming the modern design apartment they have been hoping for.

Aura Director, Tim Russell said, “retirees on the Sunshine Coast tell us that what’s really important

to them is choice when it comes to living options, so we are really pleased with the feedback from

future residents.”

The Avenue Maroochydore will also feature state-of-the-art facilities including a gym, café, internal courtyard with outdoor BBQ area, billiards room and bar as well as on demand in-home care services through partner, Five Good Friends.

Upon completion there will be 117, two and three bedroom apartments with prices ranging from $445,000 – $755,000.

The first residents are due to move in from mid-June.
