The occasion was Ray White’s global conference on the Gold Coast with over 2,000 top agents attending, from Ray White offices in China, India, Indonesia, Lebanon, Dubai, USA and New Zealand.

Brian White has been leading the downsizing initiative personally with us for 18 months at DoComeMonday Media. For the past five months we have been trialling a special Downsize page on villages.com.au. Its traffic and engagement has exceeded expectations. On this foundation, Ray White is now developing training courses based on our McCrindle Baynes research which will result in downsize assist certification for individual Ray White agents.

The core principal is the understanding that it is at times a long journey of empathy and support with a potential village resident before the possibility of a transaction.

Ray White will also build in its Concierge service which looks after all trades, moving phone and electricity accounts etc.

Over the next few months we will introduce Ray White to operators who are seeking real estate partners to assist new residents.  

It was fascinating being at their conference because of the technology showcased and the sheer scale of the Ray White Group. Their sales exceed $20B a year across real estate, luxury yachts, finance, insurance and their own technology.

It is a fourth generation family business which commenced in Crows Nest, 44 kilometres north of Toowoomba - a very small Queensland town with a population of 1,596. The family still returns for significant Ray White meetings.
