Local builder and developer Steve Thomas (pictured, right) has secured council approval for his Rosemount Downs Retirement Village.

He states demands will come from Western QLD by people escaping the mining boom, plus from Greater Brisbane.

As well as being behind Emerald Quays Resort redevelopment on Aore Island (Vanuatu), Thomas is a master model plane builder.

Sales have been contracted to Lindsay Southwell (pictured, left) of Ray White Toowoomba.
