Aged care and seniors living provider Life Care has received planning consent from the City of Tea Tree Gully’s council assessment panel to build an integrated retirement community in Golden Grove.

Located at 2-30 Surrey Farm Drive, Golden Grove, the $60 million development will comprise 80 apartment suites and 46 independent living suites helping to meet the growing demand for quality retirement living and enable older people to age well in their community.

Other inclusions are multipurpose rooms for the provision of allied health services, a café, common areas, gardens and 177 carparking spaces for visitors and staff.

A construction contractor will be appointed in the coming months with building works expected to start on site in the second half of 2020.  The retirement development will take approximately three years to complete.
