The firm has spent the last six months working with NSW Fair Trading to develop an ‘online calculator’ designed to make it easier for potential residents to compare retirement village fees and charges.

The calculator will provide a series of questions relating to a retirement village contract and apply a range of assumptions to estimate the costs.

A spokesperson for NSW Fair Trading says they expect the calculator to be ready for release in the first half of 2017.
