The Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Auchenflower, 2.5km west of the CBD, will be the site for Greengate’s new medium rise village, St Faber’s Green (pictured), which will feature 92 retirement apartments and aged care suites.

The existing church will be retained as a centrepiece and three new buildings between three and 10 storeys will be built.

The development will also feature a café, dining room, library, hair salon, therapy room, theatrette and 150 car spaces.

Greengate has partnered with various arms of the Catholic Church to build two villages in Sydney – St Brigid’s Green in Maroubra and St Patrick’s Green in Kogarah – and another in Brisbane, St Luke’s Green in Woolloongabba.
