The Not For Profit Garden Village at Port Macquarie has launched ‘The Cascades’ – 52 one- two- and three-bedroom apartments across two five-storey buildings – at its existing village after an 18-month build.

10-plus years in the planning, the development was built by Watpac and also features a restaurant, coffee shop, gym, community centre, activity rooms and an outdoor retreat.

Noel Atkins, Garden Village Board Chairman, said a lot of innovative thinking and planning went into the development which filled a gap in retirement living in the area.

Port Macquarie MP Leslie Williams said it was developments like Cascades Apartments which set Port Macquarie  apart from other regional areas.

Mayor Peta Pinson said it was a remarkable building with a very quick delivery and congratulated the Garden Village Board for its vision and the residents on making an investment into their own lives.
