Stage one of the retirement village’s Australis Apartment at Rossmoyne Waters (14 kilometres south of the Perth CBD) is ready to welcome its first residents.

The redevelopment included the expansion of the original 76-unit retirement village (originally built in 1963), adding 86 new apartments as well as communal facilities, including a lawn bowls green and café.

14 of the existing units were demolished to make way for the new Australis Apartment building.

The redevelopment’s second stage is earmarked to include a new residential aged care facility, which will replace the long-standing Sherwin Lodge on the site.
