Peter Huang, who established the Brisbane-based Yong Real Estate, says he will build retirement villages at two 18-hole golf courses he owns in the Queensland capital.

The first will be constructed at the riverfront Karana Downs Golf Course in Brisbane, which Mr Huang recently bought for $2.2M.

A second is also planned for the Kooralbyn Valley golf resort, southwest of Brisbane, which he bought from liquidators in 2014.

“I always enjoy a challenge,” he told the Courier-Mail.

And he’s also teeing up to purchase other golf courses if the price is right.

“We want to expand our portfolio of golf assets and intend to have multiple courses in the future,” Mr Huang said.
