At the 2017 Master Builders – Bankwest Building Excellence Awards – South West,
Perkins Development took home two awards for their construction works completed on
the vibrant Bethanie Esprit Lifestyle Village.

The first award-winning category was for the ‘Most Liveable Homes Award’ –
commending the complete accessibility of the Lifestyle Village and the inclusion of
design features that take into account our ageing population.

Access considerations for Bethanie Esprit were included in the design phase, so as not to
be an expensive afterthought. For example, flat level entrances to a wide front door
and an accessible toilet and shower on the entry level. All considerations that make an
enormous, yet inexpensive, difference to getting about and staying in your home
regardless of individual circumstances.

The second award-winning category was for ‘Multi-Residential Developments over $2
million.’ This category consisted of any development with more than one dwelling that
has a construction value of at least $2 million dollars. This award looks at the quality of
construction, Project management, value for money, innovation and site management.
The Bethanie Esprit Lifestyle Village currently has 13 villas available for sale and is
ideal for those who are ready to downsize and enjoy all the excitement that comes with
the next phase of their life, offering a new way of living for WA’s over 55’s.

Chris How, Bethanie CEO comments, “The planning process for Bethanie Esprit has
focused on how we can offer our residents a wider range of accommodation options
than previously offered at any other lifestyle village in Western Australia.
“The new clubhouse located in the heart of the community, with accompanying bowling-green,
putting course, men’s shed, BBQ area and heated swimming pool, provides the
perfect place for residents to get settled into the vibrant Bethanie community lifestyle.

“There are also considerable advantages of living so centrally. Choose a direction and
you'll find worlds of discovery: south to the coastal hinterlands and vineyards, east to
the picturesque Ferguson Valley and the hills of the Wellington District bushlands, north
to Mandurah and Perth, west to clean beaches and the estuary with all the delights of
swimming, diving, crabbing and fishing – all before returning to the Esprit village to
catch up with friends over a glass of wine,” Chris continued.

Villas at Bethanie Esprit start from $399,000 and each feature two double bedrooms, a
study, bathroom, powder room and double lock-up garage.

The Bethanie Esprit Lifestyle Village, located at 97 Illawarra Drive, Eaton is open
Fridays from 2.30-3.30pm or at a time to suit. For more information call 131 151, or visit
