Estia Health and private retirement village operator Living Choice have entered into an agreement to build two new aged care facilities on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland with 216 aged care beds.

They are the base for a broader Strategic Partnership to develop more than 500 greenfield aged care places over the next four years across five retirement villages.

Living Choice has a current portfolio of 1,550 homes at nine retirement villages in NSW, QLD and SA.

Construction of the aged care facility at Twin Waters is scheduled to start within six months and Sunshine Cove is planned to start within the next 12 months.
