Vaughan Harding, CEO of WA provider Juniper (pictured left), has been honoured in the recent Australia Day honours, receiving a Medal of the Order of Australia for services to aged care.

Vaughan has been a leader in the sector for over 30 years and also chaired the national board of ACSA from 2012 to 2015.

Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) Chairman Graeme Blackman (pictured right) was also appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia. He was singled out for his work in aged care as well as pharmaceuticals and biotechnologies, education and the Anglican Diocese.

Overall, 958 people were recognised across Australia in the Honours List for 2017.
