The boutique developer has filed a development application to build 52 apartments and 48 single storey townhouses across two four-and five storey buildings at the 40,425sqm site of the former Higgins Primary School.

The $38.7 million project, designed by Stewart Architecture and named The Henry after the suburb’s namesake Henry Bourne Higgins has purposely tried to keep as much green space as possible and ensure that the independent living units will not all look the same according to Managing Director Richard Howarth.

There are also plans to build a co-located aged care facility following consultation with the community after the school closed.
