In March 2017, our resident population of 140 people were given a comprehensive survey on village life at Greenways. Of the 140 surveys issued, 110 were returned. Our final question was:

Welcome to Greenways Village, Our Village on the Peninsula. Our superb facilities and well-designed villa units are set in nine acres of landscaped gardens within the popular residential suburb of Seaford – a community within a community served by loyal and caring staff. At Greenways Village, we provide spacious and affordable one, two and three bedroom villa units as well as one bedroom apartments. All units are refurbished to the highest standard, with carports available and plenty of visitor parking areas.

Greenways Village is a thriving, independent, secure and caring community that has stood the test of time. Residents generate their own social activities with assistance from management and an enthusiastic residents’ committee ensures that the views of the community are made known. Activities on offer include lawn bowls, billiards/snooker, bingo, Exercise group, hotel lunches, gardening group, cross stitch group, guest speakers, handicrafts/art, happy hour and film evenings. Residents are encouraged to make use of the Greenways Club Centre and experience “Marions” – the intimate village dining room – which provides home cooked meals in air-conditioned comfort in summer and a cosy log fire in winter.
