Are you looking for a little extra care while you recuperate? Respite Care may be the answer.

For moments in your life when you need some extra support – to recover from illness, injury, or a hospital stay – RetireAustralia offers respite care in our fully-furnished serviced apartments. Giving you time to recuperate in comfort, while our trusted team takes care of cleaning, linen laundry and provides three nutritious meals a day. Our experienced staff can also provide personal care services and medication support during your two to six-week stay. For less than the price of a hotel room, you can have comfort and security. The private apartments offer the perfect balance of care and independence, where you’ll have your own bathroom and kitchenette, along with the safety and security of 24/7 onsite staff and emergency call system. One of the benefits of recuperating in a retirement village is that you can be part of a warm and welcoming community. There are many social opportunities and activities to join, you can participate in as much or as little as you like. Respite care can also be the perfect way to try retirement village life, before you buy. Some of our past respite residents have seen how much they benefited from their stay that they are now permanent residents, such as Jennifer Smith at Wisteria Grove Retirement Village. “The girls are all very helpful,” says Jennifer “I like having the meals prepared for me, which are quite good. “I like joining in the activities, such as sing-alongs and bingo. I also like the hairdresser services and podiatrist visits at Wisteria Grove, as I don’t need to go somewhere else for these,” Jennifer explains. “I feel like one of the lucky ones as I can manage a lot on my own,” she says. “But it’s good being cared for by the girls here when I need the support.” Prices are correct at time of upload and are subject to change. You will pay a departure fee when you leave this village.
