The Village Retirement Group

The Operator

The Village Retirement Group is an independent, family owned Australian business with extensive property development experience in South East Queensland dating back to 1979. In that time, the company has built masterplanned developments at Pelican Waters and Bella Vista Estate at Caloundra, as well as residential projects in Boondall, Taigum, Wilston, Hendra and Toowoomba.

Formerly known as Harrisons, the company was built on traditional family values. In fact, Chairman Michael Harrison formed The Village Retirement Group after a search for accommodation options for his mother failed to deliver anything he felt was good enough for her. It was this gap in quality retirement accommodation that has seen Villages built in Yeronga, Coorparoo, Redcliffe and Toowoomba. Today, you’ll still see Michael and his son Justin regularly in our Villages, having a chat or a cup of tea with residents like they’re part of their family.

Our Vision
The Village Retirement Group has a simple vision.
To create world-class, integrated lifestyle villages where residents are valued and can live safely and confidently within their current community.
