Anglicare - Farrer Brown Court, Aged Care, Castle Hill

Farrer Brown Court is a residential aged care home located on Gough Drive, within Anglicare’s extensive Castle Hill village precinct. With accommodation for 125 residents, all rooms are single private rooms with an ensuite that overlook a central courtyard and surrounding bushland. This home also includes a secure memory support unit for 20 residents.

• Bathroom: Tile flooring. Accessible with grip rails and an emergency call button

Common areas

• Café: Located near the main lounge. Adjoins a covered courtyard. Services include a fee.

• Activities room / Chapel: Chapel connects to the main lounge for large group activities and events.

• Dining room: The large, central dining room is located near the main lounge and café.

• Lounge and sitting areas: The main lounge has a large flat screen TV and grand piano. It connects to the chapel and opens out to a covered balcony. There are multiple sitting and activity areas on the top level.

• Outdoor areas: The large centrally located courtyard has a covered area and a small vegetable patch. The memory support unit has its own secure garden with walking paths.

• Hairdressing/beauty salon: Purpose-built salon located on the ground floor. Services include a fee.

• Library: Located on both the ground level and level 1. It provides books, a computer kiosk and DVDs.

• Consulting / physiotherapy rooms: Purpose-built room for visiting doctors. Resident gym staffed by allied health providers.
