About this Property

Teloca House Hostel

The Community

Situated in Narrandera – a town rich in colonial history and natural attractions in the beautiful Riverina – Teloca House offers a lifestyle based on security and peace of mind.

Caring for 45 residents, Teloca provides a number of communal areas including two lounge rooms, cafe, activities room, family lounge and dining room. There is also a communal courtyard and expansive grounds.

Friendly staff liaise with residents providing care and companionship and provide a regular activities program. A village bus can also take residents on outings to local places of interest.

We aim to assist all residents to maintain as much independence as possible. The type and amount of care a person receives is dependent on what is needed to maintain his or her lifestyle and includes assistance with basic activities of daily living (eating, bathing, grooming, toilet assistance, dressing, transport, etc.) Skilled Care is provided for those who need medical or nursing care or rehabilitative services for the rehabilitation of injured, disabled or sick persons.

Teloca also provides specialist dementia care giving residents the best quality of life in a safe and supportive environment.

Your new home awaits you at Teloca House.

Accommodation comprises a generous sized bed/sitting room with en-suite bathrooms, heating and emergency call button.

All units have either garden or courtyard views with direct external access to these areas.

RSL LifeCare

The Operator

RSL LifeCare is a charitable organisation that was formed in 1911 to provide care to war veterans.  From small beginnings providing support to just a handful of war veterans, the organisation has grown to be one of the largest senior living services in Australia.

Caring for 5,000 people across Retirement Living, Community care, Assisted Living, Dementia and Nursing Home, we have developed an extensive range of services that fosters independence and provides social, clinical, emotional and spiritual support.

Despite our growth and the passage of time, RSL LifeCare remains true to its original aim and mission – to provide a home of peace and security to senior Australians.
