SCC SA Pearl Retirement Resort interview
We had thirteen hundred square metre block and elevated home and I am getting to the stage where I'm getting a few creaks and I didn't want to look after a big garden nor climb up and down stairs so we looked for a place and this came on- ground level, small back-yard- just perfect for us so it was a very easy decision to make to move.
I was looking for somewhere safe for my wife. I was trying to think ahead and that was the final decision, I wanted a nice safe place my wife could live in comfortably with automatic gates and the fence down the front now.
Moving into a retirement village or into any sort of retirement accommodation is a huge decision for everybody- often it's a question of downsizing from the family home, moving from a place that you've lived in and loved for many many years into a retirement setting so it's really important that we are offering people the highest possible quality.
