Churches of Christ Care Crows Nest Aged Care Service is a 91-bed residential care service offering a range of personal care, therapies and accommodation options.
Crows Nest is a town in the Darling Downs region of Queensland, 27km from the nearby city of Toowoomba. It is set amongst beautiful scenery, national parks, boutique eateries and local art galleries. Living at Crows Nest you can take a walk through the established gardens, visit the fishpond and enjoy the abundant birdlife.
The service is co-located with Churches of Christ Care Crows Nest Retirement Village.
The Tulloch wing has a large dining/lounge area accommodating up to 40 people and has a television and piano. There is access to outdoor shaded areas, seating, barbecue and landscaped gardens. Two smaller lounge areas for eight people are also available. All common areas in Tulloch House are air-conditioned.
The Kooltoopa wing has a large well-appointed dining room for 50 residents, a large carpeted lounge/activities room with TV and piano. Wide glassed corridors with seating provide a relaxed place for residents to enjoy the day. There is also a small library with lots of natural light and access to an indoor courtyard and sunroom to be enjoyed for up to 10 people. A laundry is also available for resident’s personal use.
The Cooinda East wing has a dining room, lounge room and sunroom for 11 people. There is access via a patio area to barbecue facilities and external garden areas for residents and visitors.
The secure dementia wing has a dining room, lounge and television area for eight residents. There are outdoor patios, walking areas, raised garden beds and sensory gardens for residents and visitors to enjoy.
All residents can join in activities in the kitchen/craft room. There are two computer kiosks with internet access and seats up to 15 people. For residents and visitors who like the outdoors, there is a large fishpond with lilies, an avery, and walking paths through the beautiful gardens.
