The origins of Eventide Homes NSW retirement homes go back to 1946.  Our new Jacaranda Apartments are modern light filled homes, designed for relaxed retirement living and are now available on a loan licence basis.  This latest addition to Walter Skelton Village consists of 18 one, two and three bedroom apartments with secure parking and lift access to all levels. 

Entry is via 24 Dilke Road. The development enhances our existing Village which already contains 43 one and two bedroom refurbished apartments and studio apartments.  All apartments are for loan- license occupation, with a limited number of studio apartments in our charming original village available for rent.

Located in Padstow Heights, on the Southern end of Canterbury Bankstown district, just 23K south west of Sydney CBD, the Independent Living(IL) village is conveniently placed in an established residential Suburb serviced by major arterial roads, two major railway lines connecting to Sydney CBD and neighbouring suburbs. The local bus route, 927 stops outside of the village and delivers passengers to Padstow and Padstow rail station. Walter Skelton Village presents a secluded internal open green area with properties located around the perimeter.  Eventide Homes NSW is a not for profit company and registered charity. Eventide Homes NSW was established primarily to provide accommodation services to older persons in need.  This ethos continues with some of our properties still set apart for elderly persons in need.
