RetireAustralia’s Toowoomba retirement village Drayton Villas is inviting the general public to its Senior’s Spring Fair on Saturday 29th September with all proceeds going to drought relief charities.

Village manager Scott Burton said the event promises to be a family-friendly affair and the village is hoping to raise as much as possible for drought affected farming communities. Everyone is welcome.

As well as Devonshire Tea, a sausage sizzle and market stalls visitors can enjoy games and activities and a resident-led apron parade.

Over 3,000 seedlings have been planted in the village’s community garden as part of an entry into The Chronicle’s garden competition.
