The Springwood Living Group has announced its next project – a boutique retirement village development called The Healey.

Consisting of 55 apartments across five levels, it will be located halfway between Moorabbin station and the $15 million redevelopment of St Kilda Football Club’s home.

Described as contemporary with “a distinctive local coastal flavour” the development is an easy walk to local cafes and arts precinct with Brighton beach and some of Melbourne’s top golf courses within a five-kilometre drive.

Club facilities will include a library, bar, games room and cinema as well as private and casual dining areas including a large landscaped courtyard with pizza oven and outdoor kitchen. There is the expectation that residents will also utilize the local retail and entertainment strip as well.

The generous one-bedroom unit start at $500,000 and go up to three bedrooms at $800,000 to $1 million. The median price is $1.2 million in the neighbourhood.

Two DMF contracts will be offered – an ingoing contribution or participate in the capital gain of the property with a DMF.
