Boambee Gardens Retirement Village on the NSW North Coast is extending an invitation to members of the public to join the fight against cancer with its annual Daffodil Day community event on Thursday 23rd August.

Daffodil Day is one of the biggest events in the Cancer Council’s calendar with money raised going towards funding vital research, support services, prevention programs and advocacy.

Guests of the beachside village can enjoy morning tea, market stalls, raffles and much more in the friendly atmosphere of the village community centre for just a gold coin donation.

Last year Boambee Gardens raised $772 including $250 in sales from resident made craft and is inviting everyone again this year to help the fight for a cancer-free future by joining in this friendly community event.
