Kingsford Terrace retirement village will showcase the latest in high quality retirement living when they open the doors next month of ‘Duporth”, the second stage of their development in Corinda, Queensland.

Stage 1 at Kingsford Terrace, ‘Litchfield’, opened by PresCare in 2015, addressed a gap in retirement living options for retirees in Brisbane’s Western suburbs by attracting many with its mid-rise open plan living, close to the city and shops.

Aura Holdings acquired the site and now Stage 2 will be officially launched by Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk at the Grand Opening event on 4 July 2018.

According to Mandy Julian, Village and Sales Manager this development provides an integrated community where seniors can thrive in their retirement and really enjoy the local amenities, adding that she is excited by the connection Kingsford Terrace has to the broader community and its ties to the local history.

The name ‘Duporth’ is a nod to the Ladies of Duporth Private School that opened in Oxley in 1888.

Duporth will be home to 53 one-, two- and three-bedroom independent living apartments and state-of-the-art community facilities. Currently the community facilities are complete and there are two display apartments available for showing.

Apartments at Kingsford Terrace retirement community are priced from $395,000 and are selling quickly.

The first residents will be moving in from the 18th June.
