B’nai B’rith Retirement Villages (BBRV) bought the existing block in Guilfoyle Avenue in Sydney’s exclusive Double Bay to increase their offerings to Jewish seniors in need of affordable housing options.

Located a short walk from the centre of Double Bay, the block has nine apartments –  five two-bedroom with sunroom apartments, three two-bedroom apartments and one one-bedroom with sunroom.

BBRV has now been granted development approval to convert the block into six new executive apartments.

“The apartments will be fully renovated to reflect the high standard of BBRV and will be offered under similar conditions as those at our Princess Gardens village” General Manager Leon Fredkin told Jewish Wire.

The apartments should be ready by mid-2018.
