Presbyterian Aged Care has gone one step further in the video marketing of its $190M ‘The Terraces’ village and care development at Paddington, a dress circle suburb of Sydney.

To bring the vertical village to life, they have engaged specialist marketing and sales agency GBD who have filmed actors against a green screen and dropped them into artistic creations of the finished apartments and public areas.

The result – real people moving about the village even though today it is just a construction site.

GBD CEO Jeff McGarn (pictured) says the idea came to him while he was actually at the movies – which have bigger budgets and resources. "It's not unusual to see people placed in a computer generated photo of a home interior. However there's a lot of work to pull together on a greenfield development shoot as it involves interior designers, stylists, models, photographers, cinematographers, writers, editors and a whole stack of people behind the scenes. That’s a challenging shoot and involves a highly technical and time consuming edit to get it right."
