His 10-minute workout, released five years ago, has had 6.3 million views, and his chair workout for seniors has had 1.3 million views.<\/strong><\/p><p>He even has a seven<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLyCLoPd4VxBvSfJSV9A06NJqBbqga65eI\">-day workout challenge for seniors.<\/a><\/p><p>The Australian Government\u2019s Australian Institute of Health and Welfare states for people aged 65 and over, physical activity becomes important in maintaining energy levels, increasing joint movement, preventing or managing mental health problems (by reducing stress and anxiety), and improving mood and memory function.<\/p><p>Physical activity can prevent or improve many health risk factors and chronic diseases such as hypertension, high blood cholesterol, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.<\/p><p>Recent research has also indicated that even modest amounts of physical activity participation in the elderly can substantially decrease the risk of developing cardiovascular disease, when compared with being physically inactive.<\/p><p>Increasing moderate physical activity by just 15 minutes, five times a week, for those aged 65 and over who are \u2018at risk\u2019 of disease could produce the largest health gains.<\/p><p>Improved quality of life, survival rates and treatment outcomes have also been associated with increases in physical activity undertaken as part of a medical or rehabilitation management plan, especially for individuals diagnosed with cardiovascular disease or cancer.
