retirement village operator Sundale&#8217;s Community Christmas Carols was a bigger success than expected, with up to 2,500 attending this year\u2019s event.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u201cWe knew it had always been a well-loved community event but we are now becoming aware of how important it always was to the wider community,\u201d said organiser Rochelle Coombs, Sundale&#8217;s Community and Customer Experience Manager.<\/p><p>The Carols were held at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.villages.com.au\/operators\/sundale-1069\">Sundale&#8217;s<\/a> Garden Village Retirement Community on 7.6ha in Nambour, Queensland&#8217;s Sunshine Coast, and appealed to people of all ages.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section free face painters and balloon artists, free local community entertainment, free farm animals, food options, and a visit from Santa with a gift for the children.<\/p><p>The event was supported by The Lions Club of Nambour, who manned the barbecues to make hamburgers, with Lions\u2019 Christmas cakes on sale.<\/p><p>\u201cWe were a little overwhelmed by the interest but we were very excited about hosting what was a fabulous family event,\u201d Rochelle said.<\/p><p>Sundale CEO Cam Taylor (pictured top with Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli (centre) and Sundale Executive Manager Brand and Communications, Tracey Gillander) said the Christmas Carols were Sundale&#8217;s &#8220;gift to a fantastic community&#8221;.
