Serenitas’ Thyme Lifestyle Resort Palm Cove has welcomed its first residents. The community is in the Kewarra Beach region between Cairns and Port Douglas, Queensland.
New homeowner Carol James (pictured left) said she was looking forward to enjoying the tropical lifestyle in Far North Queensland.
“At this stage of my life, Thyme Palm Cove offers me an amazing home to live in, the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends,” she said.
“Also, most importantly, it offers safety and security living inside a community with a secure, gated entry.”
Fellow homeowner Pauline Bryan (pictured right), who moved to Far North Queensland to be closer to family, said she “couldn’t be happier” with her new home.
“I have been surprised at how easily I have settled into my new home. My new home means that I can enjoy everything that the Thyme Palm Cove lifestyle offers and the beautiful area around Kewarra Beach,” Pauline said.
Thyme Sales Consultant Michelle Fitzjohn said the homes “opened the door to new opportunities and friendships”.
“We know many Australians are looking for a lifestyle that offers connection, and the opportunity to stay independent, with a low-maintenance home that gives them more time to do the things they love,” Michelle said.
“This community offers just that, with the chance to live in a nature-rich location that might otherwise feel financially out of reach, while enjoying resort-style facilities and an active, social lifestyle.”
The first homeowners will be the first to enjoy the future Clubhouse and resort style facilities set to start construction later in 2026. Once complete, homeowners will enjoy a swimming pool and spa, pickleball court, gym and fitness studio, cinema, golf simulator, arts and crafts studio, dog park, hobby shed and welcoming social spaces designed to support an active, vibrant lifestyle.
Thyme Lifestyle Resort homes are available from $635,000. The median price of a two-bedroom home in Kewarra Beach is $900,000.
