UCG provides a service to operators preparing for the switch over to digital TV. UCG will provide a survey and report detailing the properties infrastructure and the most efficient conversion options to ensure residents continue to access television once the analog TV signals are turned off. If correctly designed, the same infrastructure that delivers digital TV can also deliver a range of additional services including PayTV, village TV, broadband and telephone services. Networks can be deployed in a staged manner where basic services are delivered now and additional services are added as required. UCG is able to offer full 24x7 support, and onsite maintenance services for the network and individual users of the services.
By developing an infrastructure plan, UCG is able to manage and coordinate the supply of all services onto the new network ensuring the smooth delivery of multiple providers, whilst minimising risk and burden on village management. UCG can also structure the works to ensure the most tax effective installation for the operator.
