Wivenhoe Village is created through a joint venture between the Sisters of the Good Samaritan and Mbark Pty Ltd. The Sisters have been custodians of the land for over a hundred years and retain a strong attachment to the land, as does the local community.

Mbark has a highly regarded track record of creating award winning quality developments such as The Arbour, an over 55s village in Berry, the redevelopment of a formerly derelict building at 117 Harrington St in The Rocks and Kirkham Rise, a residential community surrounded by 120 hect of critically endangered bushland. Mbark's success is based on creating strong community engagement.
