On Monday 13 October the New Zealand Herald picked up a lengthy media release by Colliers out of Sydney which detail the strengthening and maturing manufactured home estate market here. There was no mention of financially challenged residents buying into MHEs but the NZ Herald gave the headline “Broke retirees drive Australian trailer park boom”. They added a photograph of an American trailer park – nothing like an Australian MHE.

Maybe they had to have a go at somebody after the All Blacks had just lost to the South African Springbok in rugby 27 to 25 in Cape Town.
