Palm Lake Resorts continues its push into aged care by kicking off the construction of its new 160 bed facility at Bagara, on the coast 13 km from Bundaberg in Queensland. (Pictured is Palm Lake Resort Manager Ann Finn). The investment is $25M.

Over 30 years Palm Lake Resort owner Walter Elliott and his son Scott have built 15 large manufactured home estates in QLD, NSW and VIC. Over the past four years they have purchased or built six additional retirement villages.

Their first aged care facility was added to their Deception Bay retirement village followed by this second care facility at Bagara. Serviced apartments are being added at Bethania and Redland Bay.
