Wollongong community based IRT CEO Nieves Murray continues there expansion into QLD with tenders announced for the construction of a 107 ILU village plus 60 suite care facility at Kawana Forest. The land was acquired two years ago when IRT invested $75M acquiring it and three villages.

In the same week IRT has acquired the 125 bed care facility Berala on the Park, located in Auburn, from the Riggs family. The facility was totally rebuilt and 2009 and takes IRT to four locations in Sydney. All up they have over 30 locations in NSW, ACT and QLD.
