Baldwin Group CEO Paul Burkett has made another village acquisition in SE QLD for approximately $4M.

They have purchased Sequana Retirement Village in Upper Coomera (near Hope Island, above the Gold Coast).

It has 53 ILUs with approval for a further 48. In March 2014 Baldwin purchased an 88 ILU village in Taigum, north of Brisbane. This purchase takes them to seven villages.

With 500 units across seven villages, Burkett is targeting 1,000 ILUs to capture the efficiencies. He reports that in 2014 they achieved 16% sales turnover.

Following his time at Aevum and Stockland, Burkett leads the company on behalf of the family of the late Tony Baldwin.
