Woolooware Shores, Woolooware

We are pleased to announce that construction has commenced to our new 'Woolooware Shores' development located at Alexander Avenue, Taren Point overlooking Woolooware Bay. 'Woolooware Shores' together with the new Donald Robinson Village at Kirrawee form part of our long term commitment to provide a full range of retirement and aged care services to the Sutherland Shire.
Woolooware Shores' will have sweeping views offering a unique opportunity for contemporary retirement living on a waterfront setting. Plans for the village include some 230 independent living apartments, a combined residential low/high care facility of 119 beds, including dementia specific care and a base for Community Care.
Construction of Stage One, comprising 68 x one, two and three bedroom independent living apartments is now underway and completion of this stage is expected early 2006. The on-site community facilities will be extensive and plans include a wellness centre, indoor pool, gymnasium, chapel, cafe and library, just to name a few. If you are thinking about your future retirement options we encourage you to register your interest now as we anticipate a high demand for this accommodation over the next few years. We are currently accepting registrations for our waiting list for Woolooware Shores. By registering on our waiting list you receive "priority entry from date of registration" for purchase of accommodation across all our villages and updated information about new developments as they come to hand. This is an exciting time for Anglican Retirement Villages as it strives to deliver new and innovative accommodation and services to meet the growing needs of older Australians. Overarching all this activity, we seek to reflect our Christian foundation, both in what we do and in how we do it, to the benefit of all our residents and clients.
